Codes and Guidelines

New Codes and Guidelines released

The Chinese Medicine Board of Australia has now released the following documents to provide guidance to practitioners:

• Advertising Guidelines
• Mandatory Notifications Guidelines
• Code of Conduct

These have been adopted from the existing National Boards’ Code and Guidelines with very minor changes to the Advertising Guidelines and the Code of Conduct . These were originally issued on 1 July 2010, hence this date on the documents. For the Chinese medicine profession these will be effective from 1 July 2012.
